Her very best presentation is to enchance the Wine Country wedding style: imagine the bride walking barefeet on the grass, among orchads, trees and spectacular vineyard view from distance or up the hill.
As a Graphic and Fashion Designer, Shirley has been
creating themes for special events as well. She will provide you with her ideas and designs for decoration, color, sources and materials.

The following themes can be incorporated into your wedding or event plans:

Love Doves Releasing white doves after the ceremony, silk doves as decoration theme, white and green colors as a symbolic natural colors. Shirley will bring life doves as part of the decoration.

Black & White or All Whites Black and White or All White colors as the main theme in this event, with an accent of long stem red scarlet roses or natural colors.

Victorian This theme will blend very well with old historic building, old chapel, old-fashioned country garden, a castle or restored location. Hearts, laces, roses, hydrangeas, dainty sweet angelic wedding attire, high-necked gowns, high-buttoned shoes, tea cups, beautiful cookies.

Candlelight This idea works very best in the cave location, where candles are the main focus of the theme, a reception hall illuminated only by candlelight. Candles for pilar sconces, candelabra, the bridal attendants may carry a single candle as well.

Ethnic If you have a strong ethnic heritage, incorporate it to your event's theme. The result will be very unforgetable to your guests, and the quality in cultural intermarriage is very rewarding. Italian style with antipasto, Italian food and desserts, red-white-green colors, Italian music, bistro style with wicker baskets; Hawaiian style with leis and luau reception; a Polish bride, might wear beautiful apron over her gown; Hispanic, Filipino, Japanese style with their own cultural celebration background. A Chinese style theme can be applied to wedding or special event: Chinese Shantung dress, fan, parasol, lantern, Chinese hats including the flatwares, centerpieces, dim sum food, black Chinese tea.

Plantation Plantation style is a theme that introduce the colonial era, where White outfits are the main color. Hoopskirt and parasols, ruffled shirts and string ties for men. Magnolia and lots of green trellised ivy to create the ambience of a plantation garden.

Wine Country Wine Country wedding or special event is very popular in Napa and Sonoma Valley. The barrels, grapes, wines, and country flowers and orchards are the main focus for this theme. It is perfect for Spring, Summer and early Fall seasons when the grapevines are still at their best.

Circus This theme is very delightful to use where a lot of children will be attending the wedding. You may hire a clown to entertain them as well, merry-go- round centerpieces. The circus theme will be very fun too for special event, where your guest will come dress-up in all kind of creativity.

Christmas or New Year Eve This theme is a novel idea, the bride and her attendants will have white fur muffs, poinsettias, holly or cranberry wreath, tree light, candles, black and white colors for New Year Eve, champagne party favors, curly strings, balloons and ribbons.

Toga Party/Mediteranean Toga party is suitable for special event as well as wedding ,where the guests wear togas and ivy wreath headband. Pottery, ceramic flatwares, ceramic urns as centerpieces, Greek music and food. This theme is best for late Spring and Summer time.
